The track is not ready for racing tomorrow. Just not enough time to get it all done.
Would like to still have an AGM if we could get people to attend for short period at 10am.
Even better if a few could then stay on to help with track work.
Just a reminder that there’s a working bee this Saturday to prepare a new track layout for the next club meeting, hopefully on the 29th and also for the Feb and March St Ives/Ryde Sat buggy series. If you are available to help we will be starting work around 8am Saturday, 21st Jan. If you are coming then we could probably use wheelbarrows, rakes, shovels, etc. Don’t forget gloves. All help appreciated.
Still to decide 1st race day for 2017, it’s looking like 29th January will be be the first and also the AGM will be held on this day.
We are planning some track changes before this and 21st January will be a working bee for the track build. If there are any members or just people who can lend a hand available for this it would be much appreciated – many hands make light work!
Also, see post below for links to RCTech and FB for info on more events.
Happy 2017 and hope all had a merry but safe Xmas.
Still to decide 1st race day for 2017 but please check out the Events thread for the 1st major events of 2017.
See the NBHC & RC Hobbyland Sat Night Race Series for details.
In short, St Ives has joined with Sydney (Ryde) and our generous sponsors NBHC & RC Hobbyland, to bring a 4 round, buggies only race series on the 1st & 3rd Sat evenings of Feb & March. See event thread for full details.
We will need to do some track changes before this kicks off. Working bee info to come.
We also need to get an AGM conducted before the Feb events kick off.
Also see the St Ives Vintage event thread for late April proposal also.
Keep eye on this thread and Facebook for events prior.
